Mobile Keyboard App

2017-2020

Keyboard App.jpg

I've been working on this project since 2016, first as a content manager and since 2018, also as a  UI/UX Designer. We are a small team of 8 people working in the Agile framework.

The project consists of a mobile Keyboard app, for both IOS and Android and a Web platform, where the keyboard content can be uploaded.

The keyboard main app helps you customize your typing experience, shows statistics of your typing habits and gives you achievements as you use it.

Since the App was already launched when I came on board as a UX Designer, I focused on how we can improve it. I've started by doing some competitor analysis on the main features and then I've focused on the user feedback from social media, playstore comments and user interviews.

A lot of new features that were needed came from the competitors analysis. I verified which of them were good for our users with a survey. User interviews also resulted in new ideas of content creation to be used in chat and on social media.

Now i had a lot of user needs so the next step was prioritizing the directions with the client and creating a road map, design wise, for the product.

Our client was excited to see all these new directions that we planned to explore in the future but first we needed to improve a few features very important for the users.

We started with the main flows, prototyped 3 iterations  and tested them with 5 users. We identified the best flow and improved it until it was intuitive and easy to use by everyone.

We then started to work on the new directions on new features and we also proposed a new look and feel for the app with an up to date design and animations/transitions between the screens.

The new features and improvements are still in development and we're working on more research to discover new directions and opportunities for the app.

Admin Page

2016

Untitled-1.jpg

I worked at this design as a freelancer. I had to design a Dashboard with 4 sections:

  • Graphs

  • Calendar

  • To do list

  • Emails

Based on the importance of the information I tried a few wire-frame grids. We selected the one that would suit best our user's needs.

Starting from the Dashboard, I mapped how the other pages were linked. Some you could access by simply pressing the card, for other you had a specific button.

I realised a prototype in Adobe XD and tested it with a few users to identify where we can improve it and a lot of new ideas came up. The users were looking for features that would be similar to the most used apps: Gmail, Sticky notes, Google calendar, etc.

Art Gallery App

2020

Art Gallery.png

This is an educational app for an Art Gallery.

It wishes to present people more information about art through trivia games about artists, the era when the piece of art was produced and the value of the painting. The prototype was tested with people interested in art who were excited to see where this product was going and wanted to play more.

Financial App

2020

This prototype was made for a bank that wished to help user save money. The users have a very clear overview on their monthly spendings, they could compare months and set a limit and receive notifications when they were close to that limit.
